Casais Group has been recognised as the Best Construction Company in Portugal for the seventh time

The Casais Group was once again a highlight of the 2025 Construir Awards, organised by the Jornal Construir newspaper. The company won two prestigious awards at the ceremony held in Lisbon on 14 October.

The Casais Group has been honoured with the title of Construction Company of the Year, in recognition of its excellence, quality and innovative capacity. This award consolidates the company’s position as a leader in the sector. The award recognises the rigour and competence demonstrated in completed projects, as well as the commitment to sustainability and modernising the construction industry.

In the construction category, the company received the Best Private Project award for the Valença University Residence, building on its previous successes. Constructed from a combination of wood and concrete, this building is the first university residence in Portugal to be based on the innovative CREE hybrid model. Focusing on energy efficiency, reduced environmental impact and occupant well-being, it is an excellent example of sustainable, cutting-edge construction.

The awards ceremony, which aimed to recognise the commitment and creativity of companies and professionals in the construction industry, took place in Lisbon at the Tazte Secret Spot. Nominations were open to companies and projects that demonstrated a distinctive approach, commitment to rehabilitation and heritage, their contribution to the region, their focus on sustainability and energy efficiency, and their ability to innovate and drive change.
