For the third consecutive year, the Casais Group will once again open its doors to hundreds of students, from all over the country and from different areas and academic degrees.
Between September 30 and October 4, students attending higher education or technical-vocational education can get to know the Group and the various associated companies and get in touch with professionals and activities in the areas in which they wish to become professionals.
From the history of previous editions, between three and four hundred visitors are expected this year:
- 2017 Edition: 300 students from 15 schools
- 2018 Edition: 370 students from 15 schools where students from 17 courses from nine colleges in areas such as Civil Engineering, Architecture or Mechanical Engineering and from 12 technical-vocational courses from nine institutions in areas such as Construction, Electricity or Production participated.
Besides the Headquarters and the Maximinos (Braga) Pole, the program also includes activities and visits to works in progress in Porto, Vila Nova de Gaia, and Lisbon.
“The main goal of the Casais Group is, during one week, to show to students of Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and Architecture higher education and technical-vocational education related to the construction sector, the functions developed by the several companies of the group, transmit to them the company’s Human Resources policy and which values and competences we value in candidates, share with them the testimonials of our professionals and promote the proximity of specialized technicians in the training areas they are attending, available to share opinions and clarify doubts”, explains Sofia Miranda, Human Resources director of the Casais Group. Besides this goal, “we intend to transmit Casais’ safety culture, as well as strengthen our partnerships with schools and institutions”.
The program also includes moments of sharing with the local community and with the employees’ families, for which the company’s doors will also be open on Saturday, September 28th, in Braga and Lisbon simultaneously.
