The Casais Group promoted an online lecture – “Sustainable Construction and Use of Wood” -, inserted in the GreenFest. The event was attended by Dr. Gilberto Jordan, CEO of the André Jordan Group, Professor Manuel Pinheiro, Head of the LiderA System, Eng. Pedro Mendes, CEO of Spawnfoam, Eng. Rainer Strauch, Managing Director & CTO of CREE, and Eng. Pedro Lopes, Coordinator for Innovation and Knowledge of the Casais Group. With this initiative, we intend to reinforce our organization’s focus on sustainability, presenting the perspective of the developer, the certifier, the producer, and an integrator with a complete solution.
The quality of construction work has a direct impact on the quality of life of all citizens. Equally important is the fact that the energy performance of buildings and the effective management of resources in the production, transportation, and use of products for building and infrastructure construction have a significant impact on energy, climate change, and the environment. Note that GreenFest is the largest sustainability movement in the country. Every year, this event brings together a panel of inspiring people, innovative ideas, and impactful projects, thus celebrating the best of what is done in the four aspects of sustainability: environment, society, economy, and culture.
